Description

The Golden City Garni Hotel is located near Prague's central area with quick and easy connection to all of Prague's main attratactions. Subway/metro stations "Hlavní Nadraží" (line C) and "Flóra" (line A) are both within approximately 10 minutes walking distance. From Hlavní Nadraží it is just one stop to the top of formidable Wenceslas Square and the imposing National Museum. If walking to the subway seems too far, streetcar stops are even closer. This hotel offers exceptional value to visitors who do not need to stay directly in Prague's center.

Hotel Golden City Garni was built in 1898. Its corner facade features precious wall paintings inspired by Alfons Mucha, one of the leading artists of the European Art Nouveau Movement from the beginning of the 20th century. The hotel's facade is registered on the list of preserved objects of cultural and architectural value. The entire house was reconstructed in 1992.

Room Amenities

Golden City Garni Hotel offers accommodations in 25 double rooms (extra beds available) and 9 apartments. Each room has a shower, WC, safety deposit box, telephone, cable TV, refrigerator; modern, soundproof windows and a fire alarm system. Rooms on the top floor are air conditioned.

Apartments are divided into:

The hotels features a summer garden terrace.

Hotel guests can take advantage of free internet.

Parking: in subterranean garages for a fee of 500 CZK/day for five passenger vehicles including driver. Larger vehicles, minivans, pickup trucks or SUVs, and cars taller than 160 cm will be charged 600 CZK/day. Parking must be reserved prior to arrival!
